Law and Society Association Meeting

May and June are always busy, especially with travel to the Law and Society Association meeting. This year’s meeting, held in Seattle, is particularly exciting with a number of events sponsored by the Collaborative Research Network on Ethnography, Law and Society.

In addition to those activities, I am presenting on a paper, entitled “Transparency Games: Illuminating the Challenges for Global Sport Governance,” on the panel, Unsettling Transparency: A Principle of Governance Reconsidered, the slides of which are available. Timely given the recent indictment of FIFA officials and my ongoing research!
